Glitter Candles That You Can Make Yourself
Glitter candles are gratifying when you make them yourself. No more store-bought commercially produced candles. These glitter candles will have your personal touch because you created them yourself with creativity and with love. Spruce up your party decoration by adding the aesthetic detailing of candles. They not only make for a refreshing lighting option but also eliminates the need for electric plugs at odd places. In fact, you can create your DIY candle stands and holders, which can be color-coordinated to match the general scheme of your holiday colors.
Follow these easy-to-do steps for your customized candle lamps:
Collect or buy several small glass pots or medium-sized mason jars. You can play with the shape and the size of the container.
Measure the size of the pots/jars and arrange them for the candles that can be slid into the holders.
Use a mixture of water and glue to coat the entire body of the pot/jar leaving around ¼th section from the top.
Roll these glue-coated jars in a layer of glitters. (and as mentioned before, color-coordinate it for an occasion or keep it classy with gold and silver glitter)
Tie a firm rubber-band around the neck of these containers and using ribbons, transform these candle holders into miniature lanterns that can be hung from any height.
Having prepared your holder, slide in a candle and light them up. Have a blast!
I have also used a mixture of watered down glue or mode-podge and taking a colorful napkin, dipping it into the glue mixture, then coating the inside of the jar. Use your finger to smooth the napkin into place, covering the insides of the jar completely. Wait until it is completely dry, insert a volatile candle.
