3-Step Recipe Turn Your Lettuce into a Delicious Dish

Romaine lettuce is flavorful and sturdy enough to stand up to the heat and the heat on a grill. Try adding lightly grilled avocado and a Caesar vinaigrette, and you have a grilled vegetable that belongs on your plate with a juicy grilled steak.
1 head of romaine lettuce, olive oil, salt, pepper and a dressing of your choice (we suggest Classic Vinaigrette)
Step 1 – Soak the lettuce heads in a generous amount of olive oil and sprinkle salt and freshly ground pepper for seasoning. Let the flavors seep in before you put the romaine leaves on the grill.
Step 2 – Place the marinated romaine lettuce heads over a medium flame grill. Cook each side of the romaine for about 2 to 3 minutes, until just before charring and then turn the leaves over and repeat.
Step 3 – Present the smoking hot lettuce heads with a dressing of your choice. You may even choose to add chicken dressing or meaty bites.
Tip: Instead of dipping your greens in a dressing, pour it all over, roll them and enjoy a big, delicious and healthy bite.
Also, you can sprinkle parmesan cheese on top, after grilling making this a delicious way to enhance this wonderful alternative to traditional vegetables dishes.
