Scalloped Sweet Corn Recipe
Scalloped sweet corn recipe is one of my favorites. Scalloped corn recipe is a delicious country style creamed corn casserole, and sure to be a family favorite! I fixed this for Thanksgiving last year to take to my friend’s home. They have been pestering me for the recipe since then. They told me that this was the best they ever had. My aunt was from the country, and she was the type that made everything from scratch, and I do mean everything. She canned all her fruits and veggies, butter was from a churn, just thinking about it makes me want to go back in time. Having my aunt love this corn it was a huge success and made me realize it was that good. This recipe is a great alternative to just eating regular corn, which I would eat every night if my husband would allow me! The only thing that I changed was that I used one can cream corn and one can of regular corn. By adding regular corn, it had a more corn texture, instead of just creamy. This recipe is so easy and delicious that everyone will ask for corn recipe. There are tons of recipes for this floating around, but none did it for me taste wise until I found this one. You can also add more crackers to thicken this recipe if you feel it is needed. I would recommend this recipe to anyone that would listen, yes it is that good! If you decide to make this, please let us know the results of the recipe in our comments. We would love to hear how it comes out and if you made a variation, be sure to share it! We love to hear about any crafts or recipes you make!
