Fruit Palm Trees – DIY
Recently, I saw a platter fruit palm trees at a friend’s party; I thought perhaps creating them at home would seem like an uphill task, right? Well, look no further, with these simple and easy, do it yourself steps you can make your fruit palm trees (all edible). This enables you to “basking in the healthy sunshine” while entertaining your guests at the same time with a beautiful fruit platter. Close your eyes and imagine sitting in the sand on a beach, eating fruit, and sipping fruity summer drinks. Also, this is a way to get your children to eat more fruit, and more than likely, without any extra encouragement. Fruit, palm trees are perfect for a luncheon with friends. They are simple to make, great to eat, and your guests (and family) will complement your creativity.
– Take several of the kiwis, peel the skin, and cut into slices (for palm fronds)
– peel and separate the tangerines, mandarin oranges or small oranges – in sections (for the “sand”)
– peel the bananas and cut into bite-sized slices
How to create:
Arrange the bananas, as shown in picture above (for the trunk of the palm tree)
Arrange the Kiwis as your palm frons.
Arrange the tangerines, mandarin or small orange slices for the base of the palm tree.
